Principal's Message

Dear Spruce Elementary School Community,

I am thrilled to welcome you all to another incredible school year at Spruce Elementary! As we embark on this journey together, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on the values that make our school such a special place: academic excellence, community involvement, and character education.

This is my third year serving as the proud principal of Spruce Elementary, and I continue to be inspired by the passion and dedication of our students, families, and staff. Located in the heart of North Tonawanda, Spruce Elementary is more than just a school—it's a vibrant community where children in kindergarten through third grade are nurtured and guided to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens.

At Spruce, we are deeply committed to fostering a love of learning and ensuring that every child receives a strong academic foundation. Our talented teachers work tirelessly to create engaging, rigorous lessons that meet the needs of all learners. Whether it’s exploring a new concept in math, diving into a beloved book, or conducting hands-on science experiments, we aim to spark curiosity and encourage growth in every student.

Equally important is the partnership we share with our families and community. North Tonawanda is known for its strong sense of connection, and we invite you to be actively involved in your child’s education. From participating in SPTO events to volunteering in the classroom or joining us for family nights, your support helps strengthen the bond between home and school and reinforces the message that learning is a community effort.

Finally, at Spruce Elementary, we believe that academic success is deeply rooted in strong character. Through our focus on character education, we strive to instill values such as kindness, respect, responsibility, and perseverance in our students.
